Pace Tuning offer a fully guaranteed DPF cleaning service with a 12 month warranty. This is because our cleaning service will return the DPF to a new or ‘as new’ condition with a minimum 98% efficiency.

Other mobile cleaning services cannot offer this guarantee, because cleaning the DPF on the vehicle is not an effective method.

Our cleaning service requires the DPF to be removed and sent away to be cleaned using a new patented technology that will remove ALL soot and ash from the DPF.

Using one of our local service centres, we can remove, clean and refit the DPF fully cleaned within 3 working days. At the same time we also check the vehicle to ensure there is not underlying fault that can be attributed to the DPF blocking up.

Blocked DPF Warning Signs

With most vehicles the DPF warning light will illuminate to notify you that the unit is becoming blocked and requires regeneration. When conditions are met for regeneration, it will attempt to burn off the built up soot using either an active, or passive regeneration. If the regeneration is unable to occur or fails you may be treated to an additional warning light on your dash. This usually occurs when the DPF is blocked beyond the point at which a normal regeneration will clear it and indicates a garage visit is required.

If you are experiencing any of the symptoms above, then its highly likely that your DPF is blocked.
When the filter is blocked, options such as forced regeneration or using chemical additives will only remove the soot, not the ash. This will, at best, be only be a short-term solution and a potential waste of time and money.

DPF Cleaning Process Explained

Unless your DPF is internally damaged, our sophisticated cleaning is a virtually 100% successful process in restoring your DPF back to full health.

Your blocked DPF is removed and sent to our cleaning centre
On arrival, the DPF is endoscope inspected for internal damage and pre-clean photographs taken
A back-pressure test is carried out to check the blockage level
The DPF is then placed into a sophisticated cleaning machine and has a deep two-way aqueous clean and drying procedure to fully remove all the soot and ash
A further back pressure test is carried out to confirm flow and success of the advanced cleaning process
The DPF is re-inspected with an endoscope and post-clean photographs taken
The DPF clean is certified and signed off with a 12-month warranty
Your DPF Centre dealer will then re-install the DPF into the vehicle, then carry out diagnostic and resetting routines
